Grandpa Chase Visits SC!

Last week, we had the joy of having my dad, Phil, in town for about a week.  Having family in town is always wonderful, although it makes me miss home!  Fortunately, the weather was pretty great the majority of the week so we were able to go to the pool a few times and play outside a LOT...Chase always prefers the outdoors :)

Here are a few pictures from the week!

Memorial Day Weekend FUN!!

Once again, Jason Chase and I had the privilege of spending a weekend with the Easley family.  They came up to our sweet abode this time for a little rest and relaxation (haha) and a little fun!  Friday night was Sara's b27th birthday, so the boys celebrated by taking themselves to a rained out Indians game at Knights stadium.  Sara and I put the boys to bed and enjoyed some white chicken lasagna and birthday cake!  HAPPY BIRTHDAY SARA!!

Saturday we went to the Flying Biscuit for breakfast...yum!! And then to Discovery Place for some exploration and fun with the boys.  Sunday, Jason and Matthew spent the whole day at the racetrack for the 600 while Sara and I took the boys to the pool...SO much fun!

Monday we all drove down to Columbia to go to the Riverbank Zoo.  Chase loved it, and luckily we were able to squeeze in 2.5 hrs of animal watching before the rain came in.

After the zoo, we came home to welcome some more visitors from out of town, the Goheen Family, who were all visiting for a wedding and week long vacation to the Carolinas.  Great dinner and great company.  I think Chase liked our house guests too!

Proud Godparents

Jason and I now have the privilege of calling Hunter Easley our Godson.  On May 23, 2010, he was baptized in Summerville SC.  We loved being able to watch him join the church and start his life as a Christian follower of God.  I am so very proud to call him my Godson and cannot wait to watch him grow, physically and spiritually.
